Terms of Service

Yurela is operated by Common Ground Dating LLC. It is currently a free beta for adults, open only in the U.S. states and D.C. we list at signup -- not nationwide. These Terms are between you and Common Ground Dating LLC; using the app means you agree to them.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Age is self-attested at signup and rejected server-side if it implies you're under 18, enforced as a hard floor at the database level regardless of which path is used to set it.

2. Your account

You're responsible for the accuracy of your profile and for keeping your login credentials to yourself. One account per person.

3. Status honesty

Your HIV/HSV status as shown on your profile must be accurate. Misrepresenting it, claiming a status you don't have, or denying one you do, is a violation of these Terms and grounds for suspension or an immediate ban. See our Community Guidelines for how enforcement works. Self-reported status is not independently verified and is not medical advice, a diagnosis, or a substitute for testing or care from a qualified provider.

4. Acceptable use

Prohibited: harassment, threats, hate speech, stalking or doxxing (sharing another member's identifying information without consent), coercion, spam, unsolicited explicit content, scraping profile data, impersonating another person, sexual content involving a minor or anything suggesting a member is a minor, and sharing or threatening to share intimate images without the depicted person's consent. Blocking a user removes them from your discovery and messaging in both directions; filing a report automatically blocks the reported user for you as well. If a photo of you appears on Yurela without your permission, whether or not you're a member, use our image removal report (no account required).

5. Your content

Only post photos of yourself, or that you otherwise have the right to post. You own what you post: your photos, bio, and messages. By posting it, you grant us the license needed to store, process, and display it to other users as part of operating the service (for example, showing your profile to your daily candidates or a match) and to review it for moderation purposes, not a broader license to use it for marketing, sell it, or train external systems on it.

6. Privacy and data

Status and message content are protected in transit and at rest, and never sold or shared with third parties for advertising, including advertisers themselves. The only exception is the small set of infrastructure providers who process data on our behalf, under contract, to run the app. Full account and data deletion (a real purge, not a soft deactivation) is available self-service at any time from your account settings. See our Privacy Policy for details, including what protection means in practice and the limited exceptions to immediate deletion.

7. Moderation

Reports are reviewed by a person. An automated system may help categorize and prioritize reports, but it never bans or removes content on its own.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate an account for violating these Terms or the Community Guidelines. You can delete your own account and data at any time, self-service, from your account settings (see Section 6).

9. No warranty

This service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated Terms. A material change to how we collect or share your health data is different: continued use alone does not count as accepting it, and we will ask for your separate agreement before it takes effect.
