Community Guidelines

This app exists so that dating with HIV or herpes doesn't mean starting the disclosure conversation over from zero every time. Everyone here already shares that context — these guidelines are about keeping this a place people can trust with something personal.

Be honest about your status

Misrepresenting your HIV/HSV status — including claiming a status you don't have, or denying one you do — is the one thing we won't give a warning for first. It undermines the entire premise of this app for everyone else here and is grounds for an immediate ban.

Respect boundaries

No means no, once is enough, and "no reply" is also an answer. Repeated unwanted contact after someone has disengaged, on or off the app, is harassment.

No harassment, threats, or hate

Targeted harassment, threats, or hate speech aimed at someone's status, identity, or anything else about them isn't tolerated, full stop.

No spam or unsolicited explicit content

Don't use this app to promote another account, product, or service. Don't send explicit photos or messages someone hasn't asked for.

Protect other people's privacy

Don't screenshot or share someone else's profile, messages, or status outside this app. What's shared here stays here.

Report, don't retaliate

If something crosses a line, use the Report button on a profile or message rather than engaging further. Filing a report automatically blocks that person for you too — you don't need a separate step to stop the contact.

How enforcement works

Reports go to a human reviewer. An automated system helps flag and categorize reports so they can be reviewed faster, but it never bans or removes anyone on its own — a person always makes that call. Consequences scale with severity: a first-time minor issue typically gets a warning, repeated or more serious violations lead to a suspension, and harassment, threats, or a confirmed false status claim can mean an immediate, permanent ban.
